About East Valley Chapter

Our chapter is a nonprofit corporation with the mission to foster mother-daughter relationships in a philanthropic organization committed to community service, leadership development and cultural experiences.

Currently, our chapter supports 19 philanthropies in and around the Phoenix East Valley area.  Some of the community service areas supported by our chapter include:  disadvantaged children’s services and education, food pantries, the fine arts, homelessness, healthcare, children and adults with special needs, environmental preservation, animal shelters and the United Service Organizations.

In the 2017-2018 volunteer year, our chapter completed more than 4,600 hours of community service.

Our chapter comes together as a whole for the Fall Welcome Back Kickoff Meeting and the Winter All Chapter Meeting.  We begin both of those days with a joint Patroness and Ticktocker meeting, followed by a guest speaker or special activities.  We collect donations and strive to serve as many as our philanthropies as possible.

Other annual events are the Mother-Daughter Tea held each winter and the Senior Luncheon held in the spring recognizing the graduating senior Ticktocker class.
